The curtain has come down on another season in the Herts Advertiser Sunday League with the final act being the AGM and presentation evening.
It was a good year for AFC London Road who did the double, winning the Division Two and Intermediate Cup crowns, while AFC Rangers lifted the Premier Division title.
Blacksmiths and Pioneer Selection were the winners of Division One and Division Three respectively while Wheathampstead '89 picked up the Junior Cup.
Skew Bridge won the Challenge Cup and Skew Bridge Rothamsted claimed the Knockout Cup.
Scott de la Fuente of Brookmans Park Res was the league's golden boot with 27 goals while Curtis Warner (Hatfield Seniors), Harvey Scott (AFC Rangers) and Sedin Mustafic (AFC Mymms) topped the charts in the other divisions.
League chairman Jim Lynch presented the Golding Cup to Allan Johnston of Welwyn Warriors and Gary Hitchen accepted a cheque from John Metselaar of Minerva Sports for the Sportsman Club of the Year.
The top referee in the league was named as Paul Mott with Alan Walker the runner-up.
Treasurer Jean Hubball also received a cheque from sponsors Herts Advertiser who will continue to support the league.
