FOLLOWING a successful open day on Saturday Townsend got down to competitive bowling on Sunday as they took on District champions Potters Bar.
FOLLOWING a successful open day on Saturday Townsend got down to competitive bowling on Sunday as they took on District champions Potters Bar.
The league fixture was keenly contested finishing two rinks each but with Townsend winning the match 50-30 by virtue of their superior 23 shot difference. This week sees the club playing the first leg of two trophy games the first at home v Century and the second away against Owls at Watford. Both will be keenly contested games. Spectators are welcome at the home game at Waverley Road start time 2.30pm.
