BEAUMONT School beat Kings Langley High School to win the Hertfordshire Division of the rugby league Champion School Competition. In the group stage Beaumont defeated schools from Hemel Hempstead and Aylesbury to reach the final which they won 20-14.

In the group stage Beaumont defeated schools from Hemel Hempstead and Aylesbury to reach the final which they won 20-14.
The Beaumont side was made up with several top prospects from the St Albans Centurions youth set up run by development coach Shane Rampling. Talented player Aaron Exley, who has been selected for the Harlequins RL scholarship programme, was named the star of the tournament.
Beaumont now go on to represent Hertfordshire against the Essex champions in the knockout stages of this competition.
