POLICE have confirmed that a woman in her twenties whose car overturned on the London Colney bypass at lunchtime yesterday (Thursday) died at the scene.
The woman, who has not been named, was driving a black Ford Ka which crashed on the southbound carriageway of the A1081 between The Bell roundabout and London Colney roundabout.
The ambulance service was called out shortly after midday and a fast-response vehicle together with an ambulance and a doctor were sent to the scene.
The bypass was closed in both directions after the accident.
