Xenophobic leaflets found at Oaklands College in St Albans

Police are investigating a possible hate crime after xenophobic leaflets were found at Oaklands College in St Albans.
The leaflets, which suggest people go back to their homelands, were found at the college campus in Hatfield Road on Wednesday, May 1.
St Albans Safer Neighbourhood Insp Andy Wiseman said: "We treat all hate crime very seriously and it will not be tolerated in St Albans.
"We have been working closely with the college and we are doing everything we can to trace the person(s) responsible.

There have been no further reports to date.
Director of student experience Sean Scully said: "The leaflets were found by a member of staff near our main reception who alerted a member of our safeguarding team.
"This was then immediately reported to the appropriate authorities and full site searches were conducted of both campuses.
"We will continue to be vigilant but since this original incident there have been no further sightings of this material."
