A WOMAN was rushed to hospital earlier today after her hand was trapped in a paper shredder.
Fire, police and an ambulance were called to Phoenix House on Campfield Road at around 3pm where a woman, believed to be 43 years old, was found with her hand trapped in the shredder.
Firefighters helped free her and she was then taken to Watford General Hospital.
Ambulance service spokesman Gary Sanderson said the woman was stabilised by paramedics who administered strong analgesia to take away the pain before she was taken on to the hospital.
