A woman who was injured in a collision on the M1 near St Albans has been taken to hospital.
Police were called at 7.45am this morning to a crash between a motorbike and a van on the M1 southbound between Junction 6 for St Albans and Junction 5 for Watford.
An ambulance crew was dispatched to help. At the scene they assessed the woman for a possible elbow injury and leg pain.
The patient was taken to Watford General Hospital for further care.
