A WOMAN was taken to hospital after she was in collsion with a car in St Albans city centre on Saturday night (February 11).

The East of England Ambulance Service (EEAST) were called to Holywell Hill, near to the Peahen, at 11.22pm. An emergency care practitioner from St Albans and an ambulance from Borehamwood attended.

Ambulance Service spokesman Gary Sanderson said: “The woman, who we believe to be in her 30s, was slightly injured and following treatment by the ambulance crews at the roadside, she was taken to the Lister Hospital in Stevenage for further care.”
