A woman has been taken to hospital in a serious condition after falling unconscious on a busy St Albans street.
The ambulance service was called at 1.40pm to reports the woman was unconscious outside kitchen furniture store Poggenpohl on London Road.
Two rapid response vehicles, an ambulance, and an air ambulance were dispatched.
Emergency crews sedated the woman, who is believed to be in her 50s, and she was taken to Watford General Hospital in a serious condition.
