A woman has suffered back and shoulder injuries after being hit by a bus in the city centre this afternoon (Friday).
Emergency services treated the woman, who was involved in the accident outside the Town Hall on St Peter’s street, St Albans, at around 1pm.
Two rapid response cars and two ambulance crews attended the scene, and the woman is said to be conscious and breathing.
She is currently being taken to Watford General Hospital. It is said her injuries are not serious or life threatening.
Roads have been reopened after police cordoned off St Peter’s Street at the junction with Victoria Street and roundabout.
