A woman has been hospitalised after being cut out of her car following a crash in Park Street this morning (Tues).
The roof of a white mini was removed by St Albans fire service to free the woman following the collision at the BP petrol station on Watling Street.
A spokeswoman from the police said the mini collided with a black Audi A3 when one of the cars was coming out of the garage at about 8am, but she was unsure which one.
Police closed Watling Street at both ends and it was re-opened at about 9am.
The woman was taken to Watford General hospital by ambulance and it is believed no one else was injured.
