A 29-year-old woman has appeared in court following a stabbing in Redbourn on Saturday night.

The victim was a 60-year-old woman who was stabbed in her home in Stephens Way, Redbourn, She was initially taken to Luton and Dunstable Hospital before being transferred to Bedford Hospital where she is in a stable condition.

Police were called to the incident at around 11.20pm and Kelly Pasquali, also of Stephens Way, appeared before St Albans magistrates on Monday charged with wounding with intent and aggravated burglary. She was remanded in custody until Tuesday, January 29.
