Churches across St Albans are preparing to celebrate Easter this weekend - why not join them?
Hallelujah! Christ is Risen! That’s the cry that will go up in churches across St Albans, Harpenden and the surrounding district on Easter Sunday (April 16th).
Local Christians will join with millions of others across the world to celebrate that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, rose from the dead and lives today.
The celebration comes just days after Good Friday, when Christians recall Christ’s suffering and death, and share in sombre reflection. Christ’s resurrection offers the promise of a new beginning, a fresh start in life for anyone who puts their trust in God and seeks to follow him.
