There are no fast trains between London St Pancras International and St Albans City at the moment due to defective rail lines.
Train services running to and from these stations may be cancelled or delayed by up to 15 minutes and the disruption is expected to last until 11am.
According to Thameslink, which operates trains on that line, the 08:34 East Midlands Trains service reported a track defect on the fast line between Elstree & Borehamwood and Radlett. The line has been closed for while Network Rail engineers investigate.
