A convocation of legal eagles have raised £192 for the Eastern Legal Support Trust from a baking competition.

The annual Legal Bake-Off was held at Rayden Solicitors in St Albans last week and featured creations ranging from a chocolate tower to one made with avocado.

Rayden Solicitor’s owner Katherine Rayden said: “This was another hugely enjoyable charitable event and we are proud to have raised £192 for such a worthwhile charity, who are supporting some of the most vulnerable people in our society.

“We’d like to thank our judge Phil Thompson from Thompson St Albans for taking time out of his busy day to support this baking event and for his amazing chocolate cake which was auctioned at the event as well.”

The winner of the best-looking cake was Rebecca Potton for her chocolate cake and Emily Foreman won the best-tasting cake for her syrup sponge cake.
