Cash stolen from charity shop over the weekend

Cash was stolen from a charity shop over the weekend.

Oxfam on Catherine Street was broken into between 4pm on Sunday, January 28 and 8.30am the following day.

Burglars got into the safe and took cash before leaving via the front door.

Anyone with information which could help police has been asked to call 101, quoting crime reference F1/18/466, or report information online at www.herts.police.uk/report.

The shop did not wish to comment.
