Major utility and highway works are taking place on Hatfield Road in St Albans.
The work is taking place between the junctions of Longacres and Wynches Farm Drive opposite the Beaumont School playing fields.
The last phase of this involves gas, water, and electrical installations followed by carriageway resurfacing, which will be done with the help of temporary traffic lights.
The lights will operate during the half term period of Saturday, February 10 to Sunday, February 18.
Between Monday, February 19 and Thursday, March 1 the lights will be restricted to between 9.30am and 4pm to reduce disruption.
