FIRST-TIME marathon runner and TV presenter Jordine Bartlett is on track to achieve her life-long goal by completing the 26.2 mile challenge.

Jordine, of St Albans was motivated to run the London Marathon in aid of Children with Cancer UK after a close relative had a cancer scare last year.

The 20- year old, who said she cannot wait to complete the course and get her hands on a finisher’s medal, is hoping to raise £2,000 for the charity.

Jordine said: “Running the London Marathon has always been one of my ultimate lifetime goals and as difficult as it is to train six-days-a-week in minus conditions, I am so excited about running for this amazing charity and raising lots of money so they can continue the great work that they do.”
