Loreto College alumna are running 5K to help a two-year-old who needs £220,000 for specialist treatment for her neuroblastoma.
Old school friends of Sarah Mather have organised the event for her daughter Siobhan (pictured).
One of her friends, Lizzie O’Donohoe, said: “Many of us haven’t seen Sarah since school over 20 years ago, but one of our school mates, Emma Davis, found out what Sarah and her family are going through and decided we should all get together as a year group to support her and raise funds.”
So they organised a 5K walking or running route around St Albans and 25 old friends agreed to complete it after Easter.
The route starts and ends at the Inn on the Park, and passes Loreto College on Hatfield Road.
