Police dog Dexter was called in to reports of a burglary and assault in St Albans.
Officers were called to Maynard Drive in St Albans following a burglary at around 7am on Tuesday, May 29, where it was alleged an inhabitant was struck by a burglar, who then escaped.
Dexter helped officers search the area and the investigation is ongoing.
