Temperatures in St Albans are to dip as low as Iceland’s next week, as the UK braces itself for -8C.
On Remembrance Sunday, it will be just 6C in St Albans, and the Met Office are predicting a plunge to -8C at night
While Arctic winds are set to sweep the UK on Monday, St Albans has some respite, with a steady 6C in the day, the same as Reykjavik, the capital city of Iceland.
Tuesday onwards, it will be much milder with temperatures of 10C.
