Hot weather is sweeping across the south east this weekend.
After snowy conditions plagued the country throughout winter and into spring, St Albans is about to experience the first pleasant weather of the year.
The Met office are forecasting temperatures to soar to 23C tomorrow by 2pm, cooling to 16C by 6pm. That is hotter than Ibiza, which is predicted to reach only 21C.
On Friday it is expected to level to 21C for the rest of the weekend.
