Wintry showers are forecast for St Albans overnight.
The Met Office has warned of snow and ice for the whole of the south east and this district is no exception.
There is a 60 per cent chance of snow from 11pm to 1am in St Albans specifically, and forecasters have predicted 1-4cm of coverage in some places across the south east by tomorrow morning.
A yellow ice warning has been issued, with motorists advised to expect delays and be aware of an increased accident risk on the slippy roads.
England is not the only country to be hit with the white stuff, with Paris expected to experience 15cm - the highest one-day of snowfall since 1987.
