Snow turns St Albans and Harpenden into winter wonderland

A blanket of snow has draped over the district as temperatures plummet to subzero.
St Albans and Harpenden have experienced snowfall overnight which is continuing into the morning.
The Met Office has issued a yellow warning for wind and snow between 8am and 11.55pm today. Temperatures are at approximately -3C, but will feel between -13C and -9C.
There will be occasional spells of snow throughout the day, potentially drying up in the afternoon. The maximum temperature is -1C.
Tonight the weather will be bitterly cold with a strong easterly wind, but drier with a chance of occasional snow flurries.
