St Albans and Harpenden have experienced snowfall overnight which is continuing into the morning.
The Met Office has issued a yellow warning for wind and snow between 8am and 11.55pm today. Temperatures are at approximately -3C, but will feel between -13C and -9C.

There will be occasional spells of snow throughout the day, potentially drying up in the afternoon. The maximum temperature is -1C.
Tonight the weather will be bitterly cold with a strong easterly wind, but drier with a chance of occasional snow flurries.
