Flood alerts for several villages across St Albans have now been lifted.
The Environment Agency said that flood alerts are no longer in force for the Upper River Colne in Colney Heath and London Colney, or Tykes Water (Radlett Brook) in Radlett.
It removed the alerts at about midday on Boxing Day, three days after they had been issued.
The status of the River Lea in Wheathampstead and Harpenden has changed also, with flood alerts placed by the agency on December 23 lifted at about 5pm on Christmas Eve.
