THE Upper River Colne is at risk of flooding due to last night’s heavy rainfall, according to the Environment Agency (EA).
A flood alert has been issued for Colney Heath and London Colney this morning (December 20), where low-lying land, roads and gardens near the river are expected to be affected.
Properties in the area are not thought to be at risk at this stage.
The EA, who continues to monitor the situation, will issue an update on the situation later today.
