EMERGENCY repair works are underway this morning in Milton Road, Harpenden, after a water leak was discovered in the newly-laid road surface.
Veolia Water reported the leak and Herts Highways agreed to commence repairs as a matter of urgency. The county council contractors do not believe the leak is related to the previous repair - a new road was laid on March 17.
