A medal and money were among items stolen from a flat in Harpenden this week.
A property at Amenbury Court, at the junction of Amenbury Lane and Avenue St Nicholas in Harpenden, was broken into between 10am on Thursday, February 15 and 6pm on Sunday, February 18.
Burglars first tried to force open a communal door at the back of the flats, before jemmying open a ground-floor window at the front of the building.
They stole a gold circular medal attached to a yellow metal chain, a quantity of Euros and two ornaments, then left by the front door.
Police have appealed for people to pass on any information or CCTV by calling 101 and giving crime reference number F2/18/394.
