DRIVERS have been issued a safety warning after a burst water main flooded a road.
There is standing water on the carriageway in Harper Lane, London Colney, between the hospital and the junction with Shenley Lane.
Herts Highways has cleared the blocked gullies and flushed the drainage system through, but the system cannot cope with the amount of water.
Two tankers are currently on site attempting to pump excess water away but the temporary traffic signals are likely to remain in place overnight.
Works will continue in the morning.
