There is still time to vote for funding to boost a St Albans-based charity which provides inclusive arts and theatre for children, young people and adults.

Herts Inclusive Theatre Company (HIT) was formed in 2001 and uses theatre and drama to bring together disabled and non-disabled people in an unique environment in South West Herts.

It is trying to win funding from the Aviva Community Fund to help with its aim of having its own sound equipment which would not only enable HIT members to get used to it as their own pace - something that proves difficult with hired equipment - but also bring inclusive theatre to the local community.

To be in the running for an Aviva award, applicants need to raise over 3,000 votes and HIT is asking supporters to go to https://community-fund.aviva.co.uk/voting/project/view/16-1640 to back their bid
