A FILM festival volunteer day is being held in the city centre this weekend for those looking to sign up and help.

Festival director Leoni Kibbey and her team will be at the Peahen on London Road from 11am-4pm this Saturday (26) and Sunday (27).

Volunteer roles available include ticket checkers, bloggers, festival makers, prop makers, performers and photographers and many more.

Leoni said: “Volunteers are essential to making this event fantastic and will be seen around the city wearing bowler hats – a nod to one of Kubrick’s greatest characters.”

The team are also reaching out to those skilled in the world of film who may want to give interesting talks or workshops. Email volunteers@stalbansfilmfestival.com or attend the volunteer session if you would like to get involved.
