A viral video of a jolly St Albans employee is still making the rounds on social media, nearly 10 months after it was filmed.
The short clip shows a car draw up to the McDonald’s drive-through on Griffiths Way, St Albans, where they are greeted by an extremely playful employee over the intercom.
When the group ask for a drink the server says “oi, oi saveloy, a little classical coke”; when they order two 7Ups, he quips “lovely, so we’ve got a 14Up”; and gets a laugh with “choccy shake? Don’t mind if I diddly-do”.
The funny video ends with the customers exclaiming: “I love him.”
It has been viewed more than eight million times on Facebook - with a lot of comments praising the staff member for good customer service.
Although it is difficult to tell from the video, McDonald’s has confirmed it is the St Albans branch and a St Albans employee, filmed in August last year.
