A VINTAGE charity shop opened its doors in Harpenden last weekend, promising a retail experience with a difference.
Love to Give on Piggottshill Lane stocks a range of women’s clothing as well as vintage homeware and raises money for the Hospice of St Francis.
Jackie Robinson, retail director, said that their new concept in charity shopping would attract the modern woman who has become tired of throw-away fashion and was, instead, looking for something with longevity of style.
The Hospice of St Francis, based in Berkhamsted, has six other traditional charity shops. The hospice needs 3.6 million every year to provide its care and services.
