St Albans firefighters tackled a vehicle that was on fire last night on the M25 near Junction 22 for London Colney and St Albans.
St Albans crews received a call to reports of a vehicle on fire at around 10pm yesterday between Junction 21A and Junction 22 for London Colney and St Albans.
A St Albans firefighter told the Herts Advertiser: “It was an electrical fire in the vehicles engine.
“No one was injured. The driver had pulled into the hard shoulder.”
Highways England assisted and closed the road for 10 minutes due to the smoke.
