Between 6pm on Monday April 9 and 8.30am the following day, the drivers door of a silver Ford Fiesta was dented while it was parked in Hopkins Crescent.On the same evening (April 9), between 10.30pm and 10.45pm, a stone was thrown at a High Steet shop, cracking a window. Between 2pm on April 9 and 1.30pm the next day, the back passenger side window of a red Ford Fiesta was broken, along with the wing mirrors. It was parked in St Heliers Road. Lastly, between 7pm on April 9 and 10am on April 10, the rear window of a silver Peugeot 206, parked on a drive in the High Street, was smashed with a stone. Around the time of the incident at the shop, two men were seen walking along the High Street walking towards Wheathampsted. Police are particularly keen to speak to the men as they may be able to help with enquiries. They are described as white and aged 18-20. The first was of slim build and had short dark hair. Investigating officer Det Con Maria Gallucci, from the Safer Neighbourhood Team at St Albans Police Station, said: At this stage we are linking all four incidents and we are particularly keen to speak to the two men seen in the area shortly after 10.30pm on Monday. Many hundreds of pounds-worth of damage was caused to peoples property, so if you know or saw anything that could help bring the culprits to justice, I would urge you to get in touch with police.
