TWO car wing mirrors were damaged when vandals struck in St Albans at the weekend.

The incidents took place in Batchwood Drive in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Wing mirrors on a white Volkswagen van and a black Seat Ibiza were damaged between midnight and 1.30am.

PC Lee Osborne, from the Neighbourhood Team in St Albans, said: “Damage such as this is mindless and causes an unwanted expense for victims. I would appeal for anyone who saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area overnight Saturday into Sunday to contact me.”

Anyone with information should contact PC Osborne via the Herts Police non-emergency number 101. Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
