A VAN went up in flames in a suspected arson attack yesterday (Wednesday) afternoon. Firefighters from St Albans were called to Nightingale Lane, St Albans, just after 3pm and found a Mercedes Sprinter van well alight on the roadside, but quickly put out

A VAN went up in flames in a suspected arson attack yesterday (Wednesday) afternoon.

Firefighters from St Albans were called to Nightingale Lane, St Albans, just after 3pm and found a Mercedes Sprinter van well alight on the roadside, but quickly put out the fire.

Police are treating the incident as suspicious and are investigating.
