Two men have been released on bail after they were arrested on suspicion of an offensive weapon at a St Albans caravan site on Sunday.
Police were called to Barley Mow caravan site at around 8.30pm after reports of a disturbance. The police helicopter was also in attendance to support officers.
A vehicle was seen to leave the site and travel to another site off the A414 longabout near Colney Heath.
At the second site officers found several discarded knives which they then seized. No weapons were found at the Barley Mow site.
A 23-year-old and a 28-year-old have been bailed until the October 21 when they have been asked to return to the police station.
