A BODY discovered in a lake at the rear of Colney Heath Football Club last week has been identified as local man Keith Doughty.
The 39-year-old, of Cutmore Drive, was found drowned by emergency services at around 4.30pm on Wednesday (10).
Colney Heath Cllr Chris Brazier said of the tragedy: “I’m as devastated as the next person is. He was a local guy. He was well known and people are very sad about it.
“It’s such a shame.”
An inquest was opened and adjourned today.
