A TWO-year-old girl was one of two people taken to hospital after a collision on a busy bridge over the A414 in St Albans yesterday afternoon (Wednesday).
The child was trapped in one of the cars when a Ford Focus was in collision with a Jaguar driven by a man from St Albans who was later arrested by police.
After the fire service had freed the child from the car, paramedics treated her for chest pains and she and the driver of the Focus were taken to Watford General Hospital. Neither had life-threatening injuries.
Napsbury Lane, on which the accident occurred, was shut from shortly after 3pm when the accident occurred until around 4.45pm
