Two rings of significant sentimental value have been stolen as part of a jewellery haul stolen from a Park Street home.

They were taken between midnight on February 15 and just before midnight on February 19 after burglars gained entry to a property in Park Street Lane.

An 18ct gold half diamond band and custom made 18ct gold ring with three solitaire diamonds were among the jewellery stolen.

Other pieces include a Pandora ring, a gold necklace, a silver PASAR necklace with a harp pendant and a solver ring with a solitare diamond were also taken.

Det Cons Stuart Alexander, who is investigating, said: “Two of the rings that were taken are particularly precious to the victim as they belonged to her mother.

“I am keen to speak to anyone who saw any suspicious activity in the area between the times stated or anyone who believes they may have been offered the stolen jewellery for sale.”

Anyone with information should call Herts Police on the non-emergency number 101, or anonymously call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
