The crash in Sandridge Road St Albans is causing delays


Two police officers have been hospitalised following a collision with a car.

At around 9am today (Thursday) a red Vauxhall Meriva collided with a police vehicle in Marford Road at the junction with Dyke Lane, Wheathampstead.

The two officers were injured as a result of the crash and treated at the scene before being taken to hospital.

It is not believed the occupant(s) of the Vauxhall were injured.

Anyone who witnessed the incident, or the events before it, should contact Herts Police via non-emergency number 101.
