Two missing people who were believed to have been in London Colney were tragically found dead at the weekend.
Charlie Eccleston, 19, and Zaiga Gravenieks, 20, were last seen in Shenley on Tuesday October 31 - Herts police became worried for their welfare and appealed for their whereabouts on Saturday.
But on Sunday afternoon officers revealed the couple had been found dead earlier that morning.
Their families have been informed of the news and thanked everyone involved in the search. They are now being supported by specially-trained officers and have asked for privacy to mourn.
Charlie and Zaiga had links to St Albans and Borehamwood.
