TWO men have been remanded in custody after they were found with a firearm and Class A drugs during a routine police stop.
Police pulled over their vehicle just before 10pm on Friday night in Normandy Road, St Albans.
Both men, aged 33 and 31, were arrested and charged with having a firearm and the possession of a Class A drugs with intent to supply.
One of them was also charged under the Proceeds of Crime Act for possession of criminal property.
They appeared before magistrates in St Albans on today (Monday) and will remain in custody until June 16 when they will appear at Crown Court.
