Two Caravans and Car Set Alight in Redbourn

THREE fires broke out at a travellers' site in the early hours of this morning (Wednesday.)

Firefighters were called to the Ver Meadows caravan site in Redbourn at around 2.15am after a caravan and car went up in flames.

The crews from Harpenden and Redbourn were called back to the scene along the Redbourn Bypass at around 3.40am when another caravan was set alight.

Both caravans are thought to have been uninhabited.

All three fires are being treated as suspicious but a fire investigation is underway.
