A ROW between a market trader and a passer by is alleged to have resulted in an incident of verbal abuse.
It happened at around 4.30pm on Wednesday, November 26, near the French Row end of St Albans market when a man who was walking along the pavement asked a stallholder to move his stock so his wife could pass.
A row broke out between the pair where it was alleged the man was racially abused.
Two schoolgirls dressed in a blue uniform and a man in a suit were thought to have witnessed the incident and police are trying to trace them as potential witnesses.
