Train services to and from St Albans are back to normal following a fire in London.
No trains ran from St Albans City Station to London after a fire at Hendon blocked all lines last night.
A spokesperson from Thameslink said last night: “There will be no Thameslink services between London and St Albans until further notice while the fire brigade and Network Rail deal with an incident in the Hendon area.”

The incident comes the same week the MPs for St Albans and Harpenden wrote to the rail minister about the “unacceptable” train service offered to local commuters.
Anne Main, and Peter Lilley called for an urgent meeting regarding the poor service.
Mrs Main wrote: “Enough is enough. Despite the reassurances and the promised improvements, commuters continue to write to me with their problems trying to get to and from work.
“The commuter shambles must be halted.”

A Thameslink spokesman said: “We apologise sincerely for the level of performance our passengers have experienced in recent months.
“We are working closely with Network Rail on making the infrastructure more reliable, and with the manufacturer of our new trains to fix some on-board software issues, and have been working flat-out to address driver shortages with the UK’s biggest driver recruitment and training programme.
“In addition, the completion of the Thameslink Programme will bring both capacity and reliability benefits to passengers using Thameslink services.”
