Work to strip away the old surface will continue tomorrow (Saturday), Monday and Tuesday. Hatfield Road is down to one lane with temporary traffic lights at the junction with Beaconsfield Road's while the work takes place.

The road will be left for two weeks until January 30 when a new surface will be laid.
