Time is running out to purchase advance programmes for this year’s Harpenden Lions Highland Gathering.

The Scottish-themed family event, which once again has the Herts Advertiser as media sponsor, takes place in Rothamsted Park on July 13 from 10am-5pm.

The charities set to benefit from this year’s event are Arthritis Care, Carers in Hertfordshire and the Lions’ Life Skills Programme which runs in local schools.

Entrance to the Gathering for adults is by purchasing a half price programme for £3 in advance or £6 on the gate. Children under 16, accompanied by an adult, enter free of charge. Programmes can also be bought online on the dedicated website www.harplions.com. There is ample free parking and disabled facilities, please display a blue badge to access disabled parking in the park.

Programmes are now available from Hairline in Southdown Road, Harpenden Town Council offices, News 4U in Station Road, Southdown Hardware, WH Smith, Redbourn Post Office, and St Albans Tourist Information Centre.
