POLICE arrested three teenagers on suspicion of affray following an incident in a residential street at the weekend.
It is alleged that the group were armed with baseball bats when an argument broke out in Longfield Road, Harpenden, during the early hours of Sunday.
Police were initially called to the road at around 8.30pm on Saturday evening following reports of nuisance behaviour but they were called back to the scene at around 12.30am on Sunday following reports of a heated argument.
A 16-year-old from Harpenden, and two 18-year-olds, one from Harpenden and one from Wheathampstead, were arrested and they have been released on police bail until April 30.
